𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗙𝗜𝗧𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗝𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗘𝗬 𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗬 𝗕𝗘 𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗡𝗨𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥 𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗘.
𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗙𝗜𝗧𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗝𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗘𝗬 𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗬 𝗕𝗘 𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗡𝗨𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥 𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗘.
This is something that I had personally struggled with for MANY years and it all started when I dove into the world of bodybuilding.
If you don’t know much about that world, it’s WILD and super intense.
The goal, lose a unhealthy amount of weight, get as lean as possible and flex in a little bikini for people to judge you.
(Literally sounds like a nightmare as I typed that!)
And to be honest, even at my leanest, I STILL didn’t love the way I looked.
Now, I wouldn’t change that experience, it taught me so many things about fitness, and was the catalyst of me pursuing fitness as a career.
However, I was not prepared for, was what was going to happen to my body after competition and how that change (of putting weight back on) would affect my own personal views on my body image.
To make a long story short and fast forward to now..
My goals have dramatically switch to:
getting strong AF
AND
having more flexible mindset with food
and guess what???
….. 𝗜 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗨𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗔𝗬 𝗜 𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗛𝗔𝗩𝗘 𝗡𝗢 𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗔 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗜 𝗪𝗘𝗜𝗚𝗛
Strange how that works.
