You Don’t Have To Throw It All Away To Lose Weight…Junk Food That Is

𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗧 𝗛𝗔𝗩𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗪 𝗜𝗧 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗬⁣

When it comes to “Junk Food” (or any other holiday treats for that matter) you don’t need to throw it all away. ⁣

In fact, continually avoiding these foods, can lead to binging the next time you have access to them. ⁣

Here are my top 2 suggestions:⁣

𝟭. 𝗣𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲.

Place the candy in a container with a lid and on a top shelf in a pantry or cabinet. This will not only help you but your kiddo too! ⁣

When the candy is sitting on the kitchen counter or somewhere else you can easily grab, you will be more likely to walk through the kitchen and mindlessly grab a piece. I suggest doing this for all less nutrient dense snacks you keep in the house. ⁣

Keep food like fruits, veggies, nuts and other high nutrient dense foods at eye level in your cabinets, fridge and pantry. ⁣

𝟮. 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗰𝗲.⁣

One or two pieces of candy absolutely will not elicit weight gain. Give yourself permission to have a piece that you love and move forward with your day. ⁣

Focus on not skipping meals, putting together meals with lots of protein, increase veggies intake, staying hydrated and getting rest. Not doing these things FAR out weight the harm of having 1-2 pieces of candy. ⁣
