This one is going to be lengthy.. but hang in there with me. β£
β£
The truth is.. if you want to make changes to your body..β£
β£
if you want to feel better β£
β£
If you want to become stronger..β£
β£
youβll likely need to make changes to your current habits and lifestyle. β£
β£
Itβs very much the narrative in the Fitness world that you can drink alcohol, eat sweets and all your favorite foods (mine would be pizza or a burger and fries) and still lose weight.β£
β£
Where this can be true, I feel like it can be unhelpful to ONLY promote that narrative without also being honest about having to also likely make changes. β£
β£
Changes like.. β£
β£
β£
β Decreasing or eliminating alcoholβ£
β Finding a better balance with processed foods β£
β being mindful of sugar intake β£
β creating better balanced plates prioritizing protein, and including veggies β£
β at least 2 days of purposeful exercise β£
β increasing water intake β£
β getting at least 7-9 hours of sleep dailyβ£
β£
When I work with my clients, we start with identifying their goals and then talk about the actions they have to take to achieve those goals.. β£
β£
If they are struggling to change x,y and z we scale back the action OR change the goal. β£
β£
But I can tell you.. Usually these actions arenβt to eat sweets and drink alcohol whenever they want. ππ»ββοΈβ£
β£
Weight loss is complex, because people are complex. β£
β£
I have spots for 3 new clients this month, so if youβre in need of a coach thatβs going to keep it SUPER REAL with you.. Iβd love to help. β£
